Refunds & Cancellation
Plain-English version below. This page is the canonical refund and cancellation policy — referenced from our Terms of Service.
Cancellation
You can cancel your Stash subscription at any time
from the Stripe Customer Portal, linked from the
/usage page once you're signed in. Cancellation
takes effect at the end of your current billing period —
your access stays uninterrupted until then. We do not
pro-rate down to the day on cancellation; the unused time in
the current period is yours to keep.
There are no cancellation fees. Re-subscribe at any time; your tenant data is preserved at the Free-tier quotas in the interim.
Refunds
Stash is a recurring subscription service for digital household-inventory hosting. Our refund policy:
- 14-day money-back on the first paid subscription. If you subscribe for the first time and decide within 14 days that Stash isn't right for you, email support@stash.swampcats.life and we'll refund the full amount of that first charge.
- Pro-rated refunds for service outages. If we experience an outage that prevents you from using the service for more than 24 consecutive hours, you can claim a pro-rated refund covering the affected time. Email support@stash.swampcats.life with the outage window.

No refunds on past billing cycles. Outside
of the two cases above, completed billing periods are
non-refundable. We don't auto-bill silently — you'll see
the upgrade prompt in
/usagebefore any charge. - Disputes / chargebacks. Email support@stash.swampcats.life *before* disputing a charge with your card issuer — almost every dispute we see is resolvable faster via direct contact than through the chargeback process.
Promotions
Stash occasionally offers promotional codes (e.g., introductory discounts). Terms specific to each promotion are posted on this page when the promotion is active. Currently active promotions: none.
Account deletion
Cancelling your subscription does not delete your data. To permanently delete your Stash tenant + every row and photo associated with it, contact support@stash.swampcats.life or use the operator-mediated tenant deletion flow described in our Privacy Policy. We honor deletion requests within 30 days; data lives on a 30-day soft-delete grace period before permanent deletion, after which it's gone from primary storage + backups.
